"Allow me to introduce myself... My name is Azrone, one of five demon lords from the demon realm," The leading demon introduced himself.
He owed something to Arlot thus he had come here to hunt Xian Tian.
However, he couldn't believe Xian Tian was a cultivator of Truth and could fight toe to toe with him.
However, He was still a powerful demon lord... With his literally million years of experience, he managed to launch a lethal attack.
And that's how Xian Tian escaped with only his soul.
Lady Xing who was still stood frozen in shock while the demon lord Azrone introduced himself flinched slightly as he finished... his words confirming the worst fears of the sect.
The truth of Xian Tian's demise was now laid bare before them all, and the weight of it threatened to crush their spirits.
The strongest of them had fallen.
"You..." Lady Xing said, her voice trembling with barely contained rage.
"You're responsible for this?"

Azrone chuckled darkly, his eyes gleaming with malice. "Indeed, I am. And now that I have found your precious soul-trapping rune, I shall claim my prize and leave this insignificant place in ruins..."
The other elders and disciples, still reeling from the news of their fallen sect master and disciples, rallied around Lady Xing.
Their faces were set with determination, even as fear gripped their hearts.
From aura alone they could tell this demon was strong not to mention his title.
"You'll never take Xian Tian's soul," Lady Yun declared, her voice ringing with defiance.
"We will fight you to our last breath!" she said while she glanced at the rune at Lady Xing's hand.
TianZhen nodded in agreement, her hands crackling with energy as she prepared to unleash her formidable attack upon this self-proclaimed demon lord.

Azrone merely smiled, clearly amused by their display of bravery. "Very well, then. Let us see what you are truly capable of... My hands are itching to kill you all,"
In the blink of an eye, the demon lord launched a devastating attack, his power, unlike anything these people had ever encountered.
The air crackled with dark energy, and the ground trembled beneath their feet as they struggled to defend against the relentless onslaught.
What was happening was mysterious as they were being pushed back by an unknown force that they couldn't feel at all.
Lady Xing on the other hand, however, remained focused on the golden butterfly, her hands moving in a series of intricate gestures as she attempted to unseal the soul-trapping rune.
She wasn't talented but the best she could do was try from the heart.
She knew that if she could free Xian Tian's soul, they might still have a chance to turn the tide against the demon lord.

Lady Xing with her heart pounding with desperation, focused all her energies on the golden runes, her hands moving in intricate patterns as she attempted to unseal the soul-trapping rune.
The fate of Xian Tian's essence hung in the balance, not to mention an unknown force was breaking the bones in her body.
"Come on, Xian Tian," she whispered, sweat beading on her brow. "Please, we need you now more than ever..." Truly she needed him more than ever.
Suddenly, a blinding light erupted from the rune, momentarily blinding Azrone and causing him to stumble back.
As the glow subsided, a ghostly figure materialized before them... the soul form of Xian Tian.
His soul was crowned with a small blue crown with an ancient Buddhist rune.
"Lady Xing," Xian Tian said, his voice filled with sorrow.
"I'm sorry I failed you all. But I swear, I will not rest until this demon is defeated..." he said suddenly his soul form flowing with intense aura.
With a burst of ethereal energy, Xian Tian manifested a totally magical sword, its blade pulsing with the power of his indomitable spirit.
He turned to face Azrone, ready to engage the demon lord once more.
"Hahaha! So this is it..."
Azrone, however, merely laughed seeing Xian Tian.
His eyes glinted with cruel amusement.
"You dare challenge me again, even in death? How pathetic... A worthless worm that doesn't know its place... Good! Good! Good!"
The demon lord launched a barrage of crystal-like dark projectiles at Xian Tian, but the soul form nimbly dodged and parried, his ghostly form phasing through the attacks with ease.
Meanwhile, Lady Xing and the other members seized the opportunity to mount a counterattack.
Time was key.

Zhoom* Zhoom* Zhoom*
Lady Yun summoned ancient spirits to bind Azrone's movements, while TianZhen unleashed a torrent of lightning strikes, each bolt crackling with devastating power.
Bang!
Baaam! Booom!
The battle became a whirlwind of light and shadow, with Xian Tian's magical sword clashing against Azrone's demonic claws.
Even facing so many attacks he didn't even flinch, he was the definition of Aura.
"Pathetic!" Azrone said after all it took every one of them to even cause light harm to him and he had came here with 6 additional subordinates.
"The game ends here... Enough with child play," With a flick of his hand, he shattered the soul of Xian Tian.
Like Dark Vader, he pointed his hands at Lady Xing and pulled her closer, his palm gripping her neck.
Crack!
The next moment he cracked her neck... Separating the neck from the body with raw power alone.
